Golf Tips May 2008 Put a plan together to decide what you would like to accomplish in 2008.Your plan will begin with asking yourself: 'Why do I play golf and what do I enjoy most about this game?" Once these two questions are answered, the plan can begin: 1. Write down the number of times you would like to play
each month Jan - Dec. 2. Write down some of the things you'd like to accomplish or do throughout this year's golf. For example, if your plan consists of improving your game, learning a new shot, or having more fun, you'll need to dedicate time for lessons. Time for practice must be in the plan. 3. Should you have a goal of better health as it relates to golf, you will want to start with a stretching and strengthening plan (consider one of our FitforeGolf fitness programs). The most challenging part of goal setting is taking the time to write down your plan and identifying action steps to make it happen. As you do your plan, keep in mind the answers to your first two questions. Be honest with yourself and be willing to take small steps to make your golf dream happen!
